As we all know, or should know, software is radioactive. It has a shelf-life and degrades as time goes on without maintenance. Microsoft no longer supports or maintains Windows 7. So, eventually anyone using a version older than Windows 10 will be forced to upgrade at some point. That, or switch back to pen and paper.

The client doesn't have to care, but they have to adapt or face inevitable extinction.
